Compatibility Notes

This gasket is intended for compatible salt chlorine generator unions where a silicone gasket is required to seal the cell connection. It may be used with select Hayward, Goldline, CompuPool, and Simple Cell systems, but compatibility should always be confirmed by checking the old gasket and union style.

If you are replacing more than the gasket, you may also need a Hayward GLX-UNION-ORING T-Cell Union O-Ring Replacement or a 2 Pack Salt Cell 2 Inch Union Nut and Tailpiece Replacement depending on the condition of your existing union parts.

Installation Guidance

Turn off the pool system and relieve pressure before opening the salt cell union. Remove the old gasket carefully, clean the sealing surface, and check for cracks, scale buildup, or warped plastic around the union before installing the new gasket.

When to Replace the Gasket
