Compatibility Before Ordering
This GLX-PCB-AR-PRO board should only be used with compatible Hayward AQR-Pro / Goldline Aqua Rite Pro systems. It should not be confused with a standard GLX-PCB-RITE circuit board, display board, flow switch, or other Hayward control parts.
Check your existing board label and system model before purchase. If the board number, plug layout, or screw placement does not match, confirm compatibility through your manual or a pool equipment technician before installing.
This part is for Aqua Rite Pro systems, while a Hayward AquaTrol salt chlorination system may use different replacement parts. If you are repairing a full Hayward AquaRite salt chlorination system, confirm whether the issue is with the board, cell, sensor, or wiring before ordering replacement parts.
When This PCB Board May Be Needed
This main PCB replacement may be needed when the salt system does not power correctly, stops controlling chlorine output, shows board-related faults, or fails after other basic checks have been completed.
This board will not solve every salt system issue. Problems caused by a bad salt cell, incorrect salt level, damaged flow switch, failed transformer, loose wiring, or poor water chemistry should be checked separately.
If the main board is working but the screen or controls are not responding, a PCB display board compatible replacement may need to be checked separately.
Installation and Safety Notes
Turn off all power to the pool equipment before opening the control panel. Since this is an electrical replacement part, installation should be handled carefully and according to the system service instructions.
Do not force plugs, connectors, or wiring during installation. After replacement, confirm all wires are connected correctly before restoring power and testing the system.
For power connection issues, the Hayward GLX outlet replacement should be checked separately before assuming the main PCB is faulty.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting Tips
Keep the control panel dry and protected from insects, moisture, corrosion, and loose debris. A clean and sealed control box can help protect the circuit board and other electrical parts.
If the system still does not operate correctly after replacing the board, check the salt cell, flow switch, display board, transformer, power supply, and wiring connections before replacing more parts.
