Compatibility Notes

This Hayward GLX-FLO-RP-25 sensor is intended for select Hayward AQR Goldline Aqua Rite salt chlorine generators. It should not be selected by appearance alone, because different Hayward sensors and flow switch parts may look similar but use different wiring, ratings, or system compatibility.

For related flow-side repairs, you may also need Hayward GLX-FLO 15 Feet Cable Flow Switch Replacement if the issue is connected to flow detection rather than temperature sensing. If your system has a separate cable or switch problem, compare it with Hayward GLX-FLO-RP 15 Cable Flow Switch Assembly before replacing multiple parts.

Installation and Replacement Guidance

Turn off power to the salt chlorine generator system before inspecting or replacing this sensor. Review the system manual and match the replacement part to the original sensor connection, wiring, and control board requirement.

If your Aqua Rite or Goldline display is showing unusual readings, no response, or inconsistent system information, the issue may also involve the Hayward GLX-PCB-DSP Aqua-Rite PCB Display or another control component. A qualified pool technician should inspect the system if the sensor replacement does not correct the reading.

Electrical System Check

A sensor issue can sometimes appear along with other electrical faults, especially if the system has fuse, board, or rectifier damage. If the salt chlorine generator is not powering normally, check related repair parts such as the Hayward GLX-FUSE-20 20-Amp Fuse Holder Replacement Kit or the Hayward GLX-R-10PK Rectifier Replacement Kit before assuming the sensor is the only failed component.

Do not install this part if the amp rating, connector style, or software requirement does not match your existing Hayward salt chlorine generator.
