Compatibility Notes
Use this board only if your system calls for the GLX-PCB-RITE replacement main circuit board. It is commonly used with compatible Hayward Goldline AquaRite and related salt chlorine generator systems, but model verification is important before ordering.
If you need the complete controller housing rather than only the board, compare the GLX-CTL-RITE control unit before ordering.
If you are replacing a board inside a full salt system, confirm the system style with the Hayward AquaRite salt chlorination system before purchasing.
This board should not be confused with AquaRite Pro, AquaLogic, ProLogic, AquaPlus, or AquaTrol control boards unless your system manual specifically confirms compatibility.
What the Main Circuit Board Does
The main circuit board controls key functions inside the salt chlorine generator. It helps the system manage power, cell operation, and connected sensor signals so the chlorinator can run correctly.
A failing board may cause power issues, incorrect readings, warning lights, or system behavior that does not match the actual pool conditions. Before replacing the board, check the salt cell, flow switch, wiring, fuse, display board, incoming power, and voltage/jumper setup.
Installation Notes
Turn off all power to the pool equipment before opening the control box or replacing the board. This part should be installed only by someone comfortable working with pool equipment wiring and electrical safety.
Take clear photos of the old board, wire locations, and jumper positions before removing anything. The jumper setting must match the system voltage. Do not guess between 110–120V and 220–240V wiring.
If the display is blank, damaged, or not responding, the AquaRite PCB display board may need to be checked separately.
Troubleshooting Before Replacement
A control board problem can look similar to issues caused by other parts. If your system is showing a no-flow or low-flow message, inspect the Hayward flow switch before replacing the main board.
For temperature-related readings or sensor errors, check the GLX-PC-12-KIT temperature sensor as a separate troubleshooting part.
Also inspect the salt cell, fuse, wiring harness, terminal connections, power supply, and voltage/jumper setting before assuming the circuit board is the only failed component.
Maintenance and Handling Tips
Handle the circuit board carefully and avoid touching electronic components more than necessary. Keep the board dry and away from static, moisture, and loose debris during installation.
Do not install the board if the control box has signs of water intrusion, burnt wiring, corrosion, or heat damage. Those issues should be corrected before a replacement board is installed.
Before You Order
Confirm that your existing board is GLX-PCB-RITE and that your controller is a compatible Hayward Goldline AquaRite system. Also verify the voltage setting, jumper position, system model, wiring layout, control box label, and whether the issue is actually caused by the main board rather than the display board, flow switch, salt cell, temperature sensor, or another replacement part. Do not order this part if you need a full controller/control box or complete salt chlorination system.
