1. Shut off the power to the unit.
2. Remove the plug from the socket and disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
3. Remove any screws that secure the top cover of the machine.
4. Lift up the top cover and set it aside.
5. On one side of the unit, locate a long yellow wire leading out of a panel near one end of the machine. Twist this wire around a connecting pin on one side of a reset button (you may have to unscrew or move other parts in order to get to it). The reset button is located on top of an access panel near one end of the machine – look for a white “PWR” label above it when you’re done resetting your machine.
6. Replace the top cover and screw it in place using screws that were removed in step 3. Tighten these screws only about halfway because you’ll need to reattach power after following step 7.
7 Reattach power to the unit by plugging in the power cord and connecting it to the outlet . Turn on power by pressing the reset button , which should trigger green light and start-up sound . If all goes well, you’re now ready to use your Hayward AquaRite salt chlorine generator!
